Appearance: One is tall, lean, and muscular. He wears a head of wavy/slightly curly hazel hair with a coppery undertone. His skin is a tanned olive tone, and his eyes are green like emeralds, speckled with flakes of hazel brown, and a golden ring around his pupils. He spends much time on his attire, most of which is semi-casual, but he wears it and pulls it off as semi-formal. On the battlegrounds and on duty he wears a leather breastplate tinted a brick red, which highlights the coppers in his hair.  He wears this over a black short sleeve shirt. On his right arm is a red leather sleeve with steel built on top. His pants are heavy black cotton. His boots are also black, shielded on the front but curve of black metal. In the inside of his right hand is a tattoo of a solid black spade. Around his waist is a silver short sword with a black hilt laced with red.

History: One was born in a normal city, not amongst the peasants but not amongst the wealthy. At a very young age the city was plagued infecting his family and the majority of the city. Those who were not infected were evacuated immediately. Under the care of his caretaker One was taken from his mother, his father, and his older sister, and transported to the outskirts a neighboring city. His caretaker had been a honourable knight before he grew to old and was dismissed from the front lines. One adored him and wanted to become a knight himself. He wanted to be brave, strong, and fearless like his caretaker. After spending much time in the outskirts of the city with his caretaker as a sort of quarantine, One was officially determined as "clean". He was taken into the city as a new citizen. Those who were infected were killed off; amongst this group was his caretaker. Before One left to enter the city his caretaker told him he would see him soon, and for him to always be brave no matter what. Eventually he found out of the death of his caretaker and was devastated but remembered his last words, to always be brave, always. One was adopted into a fairly wealthy family of six. As he grew older he realized that he was part of the family but the connection between his siblings and his "parents" was not the same with him. Even though he loved his foster family he chose to leave when he was of age. He went and joined into the knights watch training hoping to become a knight. Since he had always wanted to be a knight he had been learning the techniques of swordsmanship with his caretaker before he died, and continued to practice even after his death. When he joined the knights watch training he was one of the best, quickly raising in rank. Eventually the fame of being the best swordsman went to One's head and he chose to remain a swordsman rather than being knighted.

Weaknesses: Since he is only a swordsman, and had no knowledge of magic, he is very vulnerable to it. He also fears commitment to anything. Even though he is committed to the knights watch he really only joined it to be able to use his abilities as a swordsman.
